Introduction

Code of The Savage is a classic western-style RPG built around vengeance, survival, and player freedom.

After escaping a slave ship, you wash ashore in chains on the island kingdom of Daneth. Alone in an unfamiliar land, you must find your footing in a brutal world where morality is rarely clear and survival is never guaranteed.

Inspired by the great RPGs of the 80s and 90s, Code of The Savage aims to capture that sense of danger, discovery, and consequence, while presenting it through a modern lens. The world is hand-crafted, non-linear, and designed to reward curiosity. Rather than overwhelm you with lore from the outset, the game invites you to uncover its history naturally through exploration, conversation, and experience.

A strong emphasis is placed on NPC interaction and world immersion. The people of Daneth are not there simply to hand out quests. They have their own routines, personalities, and problems. They work, eat, sleep, and react to the world around them. Many have their own stories to uncover, and your actions can shape how those stories unfold.

At its core, Code of The Savage is about meaningful freedom. You are not pushed down a single moral path, nor is the world divided neatly into right and wrong. How you deal with people, pursue your goals, and survive the harshness of Daneth is up to you.

This is a dark, grounded RPG that does not shy away from cruelty, consequence, or uncomfortable choices. It is also a game built with a deep love for the classics: hand-crafted world design, dangerous exploration, memorable characters, real-time combat, and the satisfaction of carving your own path forward.
